My name is Emil Krasnodębski. I’m the son of Jan, grandson of Polikarp, greatgrandson of Jan, greatgreatgrandson of Ignacy…
I’m a historian, graduate of Warsaw University. Professional genealogy is my full-time job, but above all it’s my life passion that enabled me to trace the roots of numerous individuals worldwide. I did my very first ancestral tree of my family at the age of eight.
Since 2001 I’ve been searching in whole Poland and cooperating with my fellows in Europe, USA, Canada, Australia, Israel and Ukraine. I took part in some projects for Jewish Records Indexing Poland, the largest genealogical data for Jewish genealogies. Many times I joined the living members of the same family, separated by the wars and emmigration, had the honour to share their emotion while very touching reunions. Such experiences and possibility to tell your family history strongly confirm my conviction my assistance makes sense.
I offer genealogical research of your family history as deep in the past as records allow: births, marriages and deaths records, censuses, military and court documents as well as old local newspapers. I search at the state, church and military archives to collect diverse types of information. This is all to make your own family history a fascinating and unique story.
When we learn your family history, I’d love to organize a tour following the traces of your ancestors. We’ll visit the local churches, graveyards, open-air museums, halls of memory. They can tell us more about your ancestors and their everyday life than you can imagine. We’ll take the images of all these places to save them for future generations. We’ll search for living relatives and will listen to their stories. I deeply believe the new relations will help you to reply the question: who am I?
Do you search on your own and come across the troubles to decipher old handwriting? It is usual, because the documents were recorded in several languages througout centuries and partitions: in Latin, German, Russian, Ukrainian and Yiddish. Moreover, an illegible handwriting makes hard to read also Polish documents, these official and private, like the letters written by your ancestors. My long experience will overcome these nuisances. Just send me the image. I work in conjunction with a translation company and am able to deliver the highest level of translation into all modern languages.
Each of us, our family and ancestors has an own unique story on the background of the crucial events that shaped modern world. We’ll learn where your ancestors used to reside, what were their names and profession. What were the reasons they left the family nest and dispersed worldwide?
Your family tree as a traditional picture or modern graphic is a perfect gift for Christmas, birthdays, weddings, anniversaries and other important celebrations for you and your descendants.
According to the Polish law, a foreigner who proves his ancestors were Polish, is entitled to apply for Polish citizenship as well as for a Polish passport. I'll help you to collect all necessary certified documents, that will prove your relationship to your Polish ancestor, will order sworn translations and will forward your request to the legal office. As a results you'll obtain Polish citizenship and Polish passport and you'll become the EU citizen.
My association with Emil Krasnodebski of Polish Genealogy has been an absolute delight. He has been a completely professional, reliable and highly skilled researcher. I have been very fortunate to be referred to his expertise in Polish Genealogy. He has always responded promptly to any query I have had and given me realistic timeframes and costs (ahead of time) for the research he has carried out for me, explaining why certain archives and documents take more time than others. The impressive results of his search for my Polish family ancestry have traced my family back to 1711 which is truly remarkable. I have no hesitation in thoroughly recommending Emil's services and would be happy to provide further information about my excellent and exciting experience.

Emil worked with our family in defining the scope of our research project and provided many options. He was very sensitive to budget issues, and consistently met timelines. We depended on him to find and interpret information and he came through for us. His work will be included in our family history and cherished by generations to follow. We recommend him to all that need genealogical assistance.

I whole heartedly recommend Emil Krasnodebski as a genealogist. Emil recently was able to find the location of the town in Poland where my paternal grandfather was born along with many family records going back generations. The research I did myself online led to numerous dead ends, but Emil was able to get the job done within a very reasonable period of time. I was also very pleased that he did not require his fee upfront. He told me ahead of time how much research he thought would be needed to find the information I requested and suggested a fee at very reasonable rates. I also appreciated the organized and thorough way Emil presented his results: everything was neatly typed and photos of all documents were clearly labeled and sent to me ready for download to my computer. Emil Krasnodebski is highly proficient in English, so there are never any communication problems. Trust me; he’s the guy you want. Go for it!

I would like to express my deepest appreciation to Emil Krasnodebski for his outstanding service in my genealogy search for my grandfather ancestry. With little to go on, that I had, he was able to build the ancestry line. His professional knowledge as to what steps to take next, did more then I ever hoped to get from this. He made this search easy and very productive. He is an outstanding genealogist an I would recommend him for any polish genealogy study.
Richard David Cheaney | Union Grove, Wisconsin, USA
Thanks, Emil, for professionally searching for my relatives' background documents for me. I really appreciate your thoroughness and step-by-step approach. It is exciting that you helped bring my ancestors 'back to life' for me and my family. Next, we are going ask you to do the same thing for my wife's ancestors!

I am happy to recommend Emil Krasnodebski as a researcher for Polish genealogy. For several years I was interested in learning about some ancestors from the Bakalarzewo area but was unsure how to proceed. When I received his name as a referral, I called him with some trepidation. After all, I had no idea of his skill or professionalism. I soon became impressed with both of those traits. He responded to my emails quickly and ensured that we each understood what the other’s requirements were. His response time was better than I had expected. His information was complete – as much so, I guess, as 150 year old records allow – and clearly presented. He answered my questions satisfactorily. His fluency in English is also an asset. I would use him again.

Dear Mr. Krasnodebski, I wanted to take this opportunity to thank you for all the fine work you did for our family. Your efforts, suggestions and attention to detail in searching for long lost relatives was as good as it gets. I highly recommend Emil to anyone who wants a thorough and expert family search in Poland. Thank you Emil.
Dan and Gail Hines | Elkhart, IN, USA
Emil has been a prompt, efficient, helpful and thorough researcher in every way. He has helped me to learn a great deal about my family connections in Poland and I recommend him without reservation.
Mark Painter | Royersford, PA, USA
Dear Emil, It's truly been a pleasure working with you, I am absolutely delighted with the valuable information you located about my Gutman ancestors. Your outstanding research and beautiful translations of the documents you found have been of the highest quality. I've greatly appreciated your attention to detail and how quickly you responded to any questions that I had. Your willingness to travel to my ancestral towns and take photographs of the areas was an unexpected gift. To anyone seeking a hard-working and dedicated professional researcher in Poland, I say "Look no further, Emil is the best!"
Marian Levine McClellan | Woodstock, NY, USA
I am very pleased to recommend Mr. Emil Krasnodebski to conduct your genealogical research in Poland. Mr. Krasnodebski responded promptly to my questions, and he forwarded many helpful web sites and maps which gave me more insight into the region where my ancestors lived. I felt that he worked diligently to search archival records and kept me informed regarding his progress. He also forwarded digital photos of the pages from records that he found. All of Mr. Krasnodebski's correspondence was timely and friendly. I am happy to recommend him to others.
Karen Kegelman | Wilmington, DE, USA
I recommend Emil Krasnodebski for research purposes in Poland. He was able to travel from Warsaw to the the region of my ancestors in woj. Podkarpackie, and research both Greek- and Roman-Catholic records there. In his research, he was able to harmonize discrepancies of the names and dealt with the various diminutives and differences, as well as the different names written in the churchbooks, depending on the religious tradition of the church in question. Although we are missing the link of a generation or two between my ancestors and the ones he located, it is certain that they are the same family – several of the surnames of women who married into the Hrynio and Iwanicki families which Mr. Krasnodebski located appear as relatives on ship manifests in the U.S. The first names of individuals also seem to be carried through the generations. I have a high regard for the work of Emil Krasnodebski and recommend his service to all researching Polish families.
Justin Kirk Houser | Bellefonte, PA, USA
I really appreciated the prompt and professional way that Emil Krasnodebski and his Polish Services were able to help me. All I had in my possession was a copy of my grandfather's birth certificate (1862). Emil asked me to scan and send a copy of this certificate to him. He was then able to contact the right parish and found the records to still be there. He then travelled the 150 km from Warsaw to the parish and researched these records for me. Not only was he able to find my grandfather's birth, but also may other family members. His reports were clear and concise. Emil did for me what I was unable to do on my own over the last ten years of looking and for a reasonable price. I recommend Emil Krasnodebski's services.
Theodor Hermann | Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada
I am a client of Emil Krasnodebski and his Polish Genealogy Service. I discovered his site on the internet and have been extremely satisfied with his service. Unfortunately, Church and Civil records for my families have been destroyed, but at my request, Emil arranged to have my ancestral villages photographed. Emil is very thorough, quick to reply to messages and is very patient. He always made sure that he knew exactly what I wanted. He has been a pleasure to work with and I highly recommend his work.
Madeline D. Sisk | Saratoga Springs, NY, USA
Dear Emil, I would be pleased to recommend your services to persons requiring assistance in genealogical studies in Poland. I have been completely satisfied with the prompt attention you have given to every one of my requests. Your notes have been complete and clear. The pictures you took and mailed to me were exactly what I had requested, with the exception of one image that was lost, and to make up for that, you generously included other replacements. You have been willing to travel several hundred kilometers from Warsaw to research my ancestors in Galicia. You have appropriate language skills, and would appear to have the requisite interpersonal skills in order to work with the different priests and civil authorities. Overall you have been a big help to my project. If I am able to make a trip to Poland within the next several years, I would contact you for advice.
Thomas F. Ziobrowski | Danville, VT, USA
I would highly recommend the services of Mr. Krasnodebski. He was very quick in responding to my questions. He kept me very well informed of the progress and timing of the research that he was performing on my behalf. His pricing was fair. Overall, the use of his services was a very good experience for me. In addition to searching records for me, he also sent a letter on my behalf to the Radom Lutheran Church to obtain records. I was then able to pay him, as opposed to directly to the church, thus simplifying the whole process. This would have been very difficult to do for me, as I do not read, write or speak Polish.
John Faunt | Temperance, MI, USA
We have used Emil Krasnodebski's geneology services and highly recommend him to anyone seeking information of their Polish roots. Emil has found information we thought would be virtually impossible to find, not only has he been extremely professional and proficient but also very informative in every aspect of the research. His translation of Polish documents into English in invaluable and it has been a pleasure working with him.
Cheryl Williams | Kent, England
I have used Emil Krasnodebski's research services in Poland. I have found him to be extremely responsive and helpful. He was prompt, flexible and understanding at all times, and his prices were very reasonable. He delivered exactly what he promised, and I am pleased to recommend him to anyone seeking to find their Polish roots.
John G. Radzilowicz | Pittsburgh, PA, USA
Emil, I have travelled to Poland and know how difficult it is to get information once you arrive at the archives. Possibly it is a bit easier today than it was a few years ago. However, I am delighted with the documentation you have sent me for my jewish ancestors. You did as you said you would and even though the archives are a bit slow you produced exactly what I wanted and hoped to obtain. Someday I will return to Poland and hope to meet you and take you to dinner.
Beth Colvin | Florida, USA
Mr. Emil Krasnodebski is a genealogist based in Poland who undertook my commission to look for my family roots. He acted in a professional manner staying in touch during the process and keeping me informed as to the status of the search. He is logical in his approach to the search and uses excellent methodology. He is pleasant to communicate with and I am more than pleased with his efforts on my behalf. Most of all, I feel he is honest and I am most pleased to recommend that you use him in the search for your own family roots.
Diane Perkins | Henderson, NV, USA
Emil is a very professional person. I would not hesitate to hire him again for genealogy research. All of his costs were told up front and agreed on before performing the research. Everything was done in a timely manner. He always lets you know when he will do the research and when he will get you your results. If he cannot do what you ask he will let you know and give you other ideas on how to accomplish what you are looking for.
Kim Wroblewski | USA
I would recommend Mr. Emil Krasnodebski to anyone in search of there Polish ancestry. Emil acted in a very professional manner informing me of every step and every action we were going to take. Very quick in response, and always willing to go into detail with his findings. Transactions were made with much ease. If you don’t speak Polish; Emil writes in English very well. Emil found information for me that I could never find on my own; the information he researched for my family and I was priceless.
Joseph Serio | USA
I would not hesitate to recommend Emil to anyone who needs Polish genealogy research. Before using Emil, I had tried other Polish genealogy researchers with varying, sometimes poor results. I had doubts about hiring someone unknown, on the other side of the world, but gave Emil a chance after checking his website references. I can honestly say that Emil lived up to his references. He consistently and promptly kept in contact via email, providing detailed progress reports and answers to my questions. My only disappointment was not his fault, but the rules of a Polish archive. As a professional photographer I was unhappy to settle for black and white photocopies of documents. In previous Polish research, I was able to get digital color photos of the actual old records held in a small town church. All over the world, I suppose small towns are friendlier and not as rule oriented. Emil - thanks for all your work!
Albin P. | USA
Emil Krasnodębski did some research for me on my family members in the Ruda Zazamcze (and the Bagienica area), Dabrowa, Tarnoska, Poland/Austria area. I was very happy with his findings and I felt the charge was very fair. Emil is a very honest and pleasant person. He kept me informed and updated at all times. I would definitely use his services again.
Mary Crook | Kingman, AZ, USA
Dear Emil, Thank you so much for providing your prompt services in locating my Polish ancestors and their related documents. Your additional services in helping me obtain official copies of the documents from the Polish Governmental Archive Offices would have been nearly impossible under my own efforts. I know this, as prior to engaging your services I contacted the same Archives with a request for ancestral information/ documents based on the same data I provided you. This request was written in correct Polish and the end result was I received no response from the Archive Offices. Your services provide a much needed conduit between the searcher and the documents/Agencies located in Poland (especially if the searcher is not Polish speaking/located in Poland). Thank you again for your efforts on my behalf.
Nancy Mathey | USA
I have used the genealogical services of Emil Krasnodębski on numerous occasions to search for my ancestors in Poland and Belarus. I have found his services to be extremely reliable and efficient. His research has included researching the military archives, researching birth and death records from local archives in Poland and translating these documents to English. I would have no hesitation in strongly recommending Mr Krasnodebski and his services to anyone who is interested in researching their Polish roots.
Mark Obuchowski | Sydney, Australia
I have used Emil's expertise to have him do research for me in two different sections of Poland, and both times he was prompt, helpful, and accurate. The fact that he can deal with the documents in both Polish and Russian is a big plus, and his English is also excellent. He did the work that I would never have been able to do, even when I visited Poland and did some research on my own. I recommend him highly.
Louis Prontnicki | Maple Glen, PA, USA
Emil Krasnodebski has helped me to search family roots going back to eighteen century. Mr. Krasnodebski has been thorough, and professional at every step and in a timely manner. I am pleased with his work and do recommend him to anyone considering employing his services. I would be happy to answer questions and can be reached at the above email address.

I was very excited when I discovered www.polishgenalogy.com.pl from a link at Cyndi's List. There actually was someone out there who could read and translate those old records from the Russian Partition of Poland! In the summer of 2000, I had learned first hand how difficult it was to do research in Poland on my own. Without the proper contacts, it was next to impossible to get access to the records. I located my grandfather's birth certificate but there was no one at the church who could read the old Russian script from 1889. And the digital photo I took was too dark to be of any future use. From my very first contact with Emil via e-mail, I was very impressed by his knowledge and capabilities. He made the initial contacts before submitting his research proposal. Every step of the way, he asked how I wanted to proceed and he was very honest and candid with his opinion about the risks of further research where records were in poor condition, not indexed or where results could disappoint. Emil's communications and services were very prompt and the copies of documents and translations he sent to me were of exceptional quality. Without hesitation, I highly recommend Emil's research services to anyone who wants to learn more about their Polish ancestors and heritage.
Anne Schmidt | USA
Emil Krasnodebski has performed genealogical searches for me. In doing so, Mr. Krasnodebski has been thorough, and professional at every step. His work has also been done in a timely fashion. In addition to looking for genealogical records, at my request, he has found grave sites, the location of family homes, places of worship and made trips to towns where my family has roots and reported back with pictures in every case. I have been completely pleased with his work and do recommend him highly to any one considering employing his services. I would be happy to answer questions and can be contacted at the above email address.
Victor Neils Agather | Dallas, TX, USA
Dear Emil, Thank you very much for the thorough research you have done. Your efforts have exceeded my expectations. For 10 years I struggled to learn more about my ancestors. In a few short months you have brought my family line back 3 generations. I appreciate your honest assessment, excellent communication and reasonable price. You are truly a professional and I would recommend your services to others without hesitation.
Michael Holodinski | Hull, MA, USA
Dear Emil, I have been most pleased with your efforts to research my background and ancestors. My wife and I made a trip to Southeastern Poland in 2003. With the help of a local person, we made some very good progress in identifying my grandfather and great-grandfather using locally-held commune office records. However, with your help and research I now have identified my ancestors back to a g-g-g-grandfather and many of my relatives along the way. Your research gleaned all the information that was available. You also told me when records, particularly from the Russian governed area, were not available and when there would be a high risk of not finding anything and unjustified expense to pursue an area. This type of honesty in dealing with clients is one of the reasons I feel comfortable in recommending your research services to anyone. I was also pleased that you reported your ongoing results to me via e-mail in a prompt fashion. Research in this area of Polish Genealogy is difficult and people need to recognize the value of a professional like you when they select someone to help.
Tom Gubala | Bellevue, WA, USA
I would like to express my gratitude for the research you conducted for me and its outcome. I tried to find out some details of my family history in Chelm, Poland, at the beginning of the 20th century. As a result of your work I now have the knowledge I was looking for. If I need some more information about my family origins in Poland I will contact you again, and if somebody I know needs some similar information I will recommend you. Thanks and regards.
Joseph Efroni | Israel
Mr. Krasnodebski was able to undertake genealogical research on my behalf, searching for family records in southeastern Poland and in Warsaw. Using his experience and knowledge he pursued a comprehensive search for my paternal grandfather and great-grandfather, which produced no results. I was entirely satisfied with his professional endeavors and the service he rendered to me. He kept in constant contact throughout his search, and gave timely responses to my email. He was completely honest in all his dealings with me. His fees were reasonable and I would recommend him as a Polish researcher to anyone. I would also contact him again for genealogical research if the need arose.
Tim Syzek | USA
Emil performed some key research for me to determine family heritage and also to find relations in Greek-Catholic records in Poland. Under short notice, he was able to travel across Poland to access vital records. Although some records were destoyed during various wars, he managed to find the information I required. Throughout our correspondence, Emil has been very helpful, always kept me up-to-date, been honest about being able to find certain information, and I would certinaly recommend him. Excellent service, thanks again Emil.
Peter Dorotiak | England
PolishGenealogy has proven to be a GODSEND to me as a family historian! Without Emil and his abilities, I wouldn't have been able to trace back my great-grandparents and their ancestry at ALL as they immigrated in 1884 and never looked back after reaching the States. I recommend Polish Genealogy highly for his integrity, speed, cost and most important results!
Norah E. Dennis | USA
Emil Krasnodebski has been doing research for me for a few years and I highy recomend him. He is very professional and also helpful to those who are just beginning their search.
Patricia Greene | Upper Saddle River, New Jersey, USA
After corresponding with Emil Krasnodebski a few times, I hired him. I found Emil to be extremely knowledgeable, very familiar with the format of various genealogical documents, as well as being versed in the languages the records were written in -- and the real advantage -- his prices are fair. Emil kept in touch with me regularly and always answered my questions in a timely manner. I traveled to Poland in 2002 but had no luck finding my family there because of the language barrier and a misunderstanding of the exact area my ancestors came from. With the information I provided, Emil was able to confirm information I had only heard through family stories. My family discouraged me from trying to find my ancestors in Poland because it is a commonly-held belief that the "records were destroyed in the wars." This is untrue. Many records are still available. If a record exists, I believe Emil will find it. Feel free to email me directly if you would like more information.
Nancy Galka Martin | USA
I want to tell you how your genealogy efforts on my family's behalf have far exceeded my expectations. I knew so few facts about the relatives in Poland I really didn't have much hope, so I was both thrilled to get the information and amazed how quickly you could dig it out. Thanks to your efforts, I now have the family tree on both sides of my grandparents back to the early 1800's. It would have been nearly impossible for me to do this work myself since I neither read nor write Polish. Of course, I was a little leary at first, but your professionalism quickly dispelled any qualms I might have had. I find your rates to be extremely reasonable and the cost of documents is about par with what I pay in the US. Please feel free to share this recommendation with anyone and to use my e-mail address as well, if anyone should wish to contact me.
Diane Brookins | USA
Dear Emil, Gwen and I are so thankful to you for all the time, effort, and patience that you have given us during this research. With very little information to go on, you have managed to surprise us and uncover ancestors back to the 1700's. We are very pleased that you have kept us informed at every step, so that you always knew what we wanted, and if we were unsure, you would give us the advice we needed. You are very professional, very quick to reply to messages and we feel that your prices are very fair. We are extremely satisfied, and we would highly recommend anyone who is searching for their ancestral roots to use your services. Thank You.
Gerri Krystoszek | Clermont, FL, USA
I would recommend Emil Krasnodebski without hesitation to anyone that needs to conduct genealogy research in Poland. From the beginning, Emil provided clear options for how my research could be conducted and made me an active participant in our "next steps." As a result of my engagement with Emil, I now have information about three generations of my family that I thought I'd perhaps never learn anything about.
Jeff Vilenski | Fairfield, CT, USA
When I started looking at LDS microfilms, I was discouraged to realize how many Polish records I needed were written in Russian Cyrillic characters, which I stuggled to make any sense of. Using the services of Emil Krasnodebski was the best possible decision. I was surprised at how quickly and efficiently he was able to transcribe and summarize large amounts of information into English for me, and present it in an organized way. Being in Poland, Emil was also able to travel very affordably to archives in Poland, which held information not available in the LDS microfilms. It’s hard to imagine anyone being able to provide better value and results than what I have received. Emil has been a good partner in developing sound and affordable research plans, and he provides well-informed estimates about how much time will be required for each effort. Before contacting a researcher, I was concerned about how much it might cost; after seeing the results, I am thrilled at how much time, expense, and uncertainty it has saved.
Tod Beane Placentia | CA, USA
I have used Emil Krasnodebski genealogy services and highly recommend him to anyone seeking information of their Polish roots. I am extremly satisfied with the outstanding genealogical work he has done on my behalf, as he far exceeded my expectations. He was really very helpful and accurate. It's noteworthy his willingness and readiness to do everything is needed to quench my genealogical thirst. The fact that can deal with the registers in both Russian and Polish is a great advantage and since his English is also perfect he is able to make accurate translations. He was also agile as he responded to my messages very quickly. Thanks to Emil I have discovered a lot of ancestors and cand trace back my family tree to the early 1800's. So if you need assistace in tracing your family tree, Emil is an excellent if not the best choice.
Ariel Sutton | Buenos Aires, Argentina
Emil's research services are highly recommended. Having only very limited knowledge of may grandfather's family of eastern Poland, Emil was able to document and an extensive group of relatives that I was completely unaware of. After the initial survey, many new questions were raised and Emil offered to do further research at a reasonable rate. Despite some serious roadblocks from the State archives in Siedlce, he persevered to record a large extended family of my grandfather. I was able to make contact with direct relations in Poland because of this work. My thanks to Emil for his patience and dedication to do a complete and thorough job.
Ed Wisniewski | USA
For Jewish people, the history of our families in Poland is, at its least, sensitive. The many hundreds of years in which we lived in Poland - sharing with other Polish people time, space and history - has been all but erased by the hammer blow of the holocaust. Through Emil Krasnodebski's skilled and thorough research, I have been able to convert a sketchy knowledge of my family's life in Poland into a fully documented record which positively takes the family line back to the early 1700's. His knowledge of custom and practice - civil, Catholic and Jewish - has been invaluable and his discovery and translation of the most difficult handwritten documents in old Polish and Russian has given my family back our Polish past.
Martin Davis | London, England
For the past year Emil Krasnodebski has been helping me trace the family of my grandmother, who died when I was eight. Discovering the actual location of her birth village of Golunowitz was the first challenge; after reviewing my documents Emil replied that there was too little information to launch a search in Poland. That response confirmed for me Emil's professionalism and honesty. Several months later I discovered that the village is in Belarus and shared this good news with Emil. He immediately responded with congratulations and informed me that local parish records existed on microfilm. The rest is history - I engaged Emil's services and now have a larger family tree than I ever imagined possible. I was the lucky recipient of good communication, a thorough understanding of the information I was seeking, and a complete summary and translation of the records that pertained to my family. A year ago my grandmother was a person whose history began and ended in the United States. Her language, cooking and stories were Polish but her life story had no beginning. Thanks to Emil I can now picture her childhood, extended family and a place she called home before making her life changing journey to the U.S. I heartily recommend Emil's services and for anyone reading this wish you luck in your search!
Kathy Leubner | Canyon Lake, Texas
It has been 3 years now since I first hired Emil (Poor guy! haha). I knew very little about my grandparents families. One had been gone before I was born and the other died before I ever had the idea to do something like this. I had spent over 5+ years doing research on my own which didn't get me very far. I had decided to seek a professional genealogist and I happened to come across Emil's website. I can say without a doubt Emil is a genealogist you can count on. Within a few weeks Emil had been able to locate and send me photos of the grave of my grandmothers older brother. A man who I remember as a child my grandmother and her family holding with such admiration. From there it lead the way for me to find the relatives my grandmother visited over 35 years ago. A process that Emil had a hand in helping me arrange. My first trip to Poland was to meet these people and the entire experience was more than I could hope for. As time as passed Emil has been there helping with me "new searches", "translations"and setting up a direction of where to go for research. I appreciate his attention and the patience he has shown me. For people who have been doing genealogy for a long time having patience is so important. Adding another piece to a larger puzzle that I been working on for over 10 years. Without his help I know I would not have been able to find the relatives and the information that is buried in Archives half way across the world from me. I would without a doubt recommend Emil.
Donald Stchyrba | Canada
Dear Emil, I am grateful to you for the outstanding genealogical work that you have done on my behalf. I truly appreciate your thorough and prompt attention to researching my family history. Your charges were more than reasonable, and the results were awesome! Before I made contact with you, I knew the first names of my paternal grandfather's parents, but very little else about my family's history. I knew the approximate area in Poland where they had lived, but not the specific location. Through your careful attention to detail, I now know the village where my Skowronski ancestors lived, and I have learned the full names of my great grandmother, four of my great great grandparents, and four of my great great great grandparents. In addition, you have provided much additional information on numerous siblings and their families. Since most of the records are in the Russian language, I would never have been able to translate them, even if I had been able to have access to them. Since you are fluent in Polish, Russian and English, you have the knowledge and the ability to make accurate translations. My paternal grandparents left Poland in 1904 and 1905. I never dreamed that I would one day be able to trace my ancestry back to a triple great grandfather Skowronski who was born in 1762. You are truly amazing, and I would highly recommend you to anyone who needs the services of a Polish genealogist to assist them in tracing their family tree.
Joseph P. Skowronski, Jr. | Danville, IL, USA
To all considering the services of Polishgenealogy, I highly recommend the services of Emil Krasnodebski to anyone thinking of researching their Polish ancestry. Starting with only the marriage date of my grandmother's sister Emil was able to locate that record in the Warsaw State Archives. Using the information on that record he was able to track the my grandmother's family to their ancestral village. I also utilized Emil to research my grandfather's family since my attempts to obtain any information from the local village priest had failed. In both cases Emil was completely thorough in finding the information at the state, diocese, and parish level. With Emil's help I have now confirmed all the details of my Polish ancestors. This information would have been difficult if not impossible to uncover without Emil's help. Especially translating and deciphering the names, dates & places. Again, my many thanks to you Emil.

Dear Emil, I can't thank you enough for the help you provided me in my search for my Polish ancestors. My grandmother although she lived to her mid 90's left very little information about her life and family in Poland. With the tiny bit of information I was able to provide, you found her birth records and from there a huge family record back to the late 1700's. The most incredible outcome of the project was finding living relatives in Poland who I am now in constant contact with. My sincere thanks for a superb job.

I found out more about my grandfather and his family in one week with Mr. Krasnodebski' help than my family ever knew about him since he immigrated to the USA from Poland in 1903. I wouldn't hesitate to hire Mr. Krasnodebski again if needed. He is trustworthy, professional and knows what he is doing.

I would like to highly recommend Mr. Emil Krasnodebski to anyone who has been considering researching their family in Poland. Emil has a good command of English language, and is easy to work with. Not only was Emil able to trace my family back to the early 18th century, but he was able to assist me in finding living relatives! He is one of the most professional and proficient researchers that I have worked with. I would not hesitate to recommend his services to anyone.

Emil has been a wonderful resource to find information on my family. After several years of searching for my grandfather's family in Poland, Emil was able to put me in touch with my cousin who was living in the same home my great grandparents bought in the 1930's! I have been communicating with my cousins and enjoying a wonderful experience learning about the country my grandfather left many years ago! His prices are extremely fair and the payback enormous!!! I would highly recommend Emil for genealogy work!

My grandparents came to the United States from Poland in early 1900 and settled in Pennsylvania. I had only limited information from US Census records about them, as well as only verbal family stories about their lives. I wanted more detail and was fortunate enough to be put into contact with Emil. After providing him with basic information, he went to work on his research. All my questions were answered in detail with supporting documents in Polish as well as translations into English. He was able to trace my grandparents' lineage back several generations. All this work was provided at a very reasonable rate. Emil, in my opinion, fulfilled all of my requests in a very timely and professional manner. I would highly recommend his services to anyone doing family research on Polish ancestors.

It was with great sadness that i watched one relative after anothe pass away without knowing hardly anything about their past. If only i had asked them more questions when they were still alive. Unfortunately, small children tend to have little interest in family history. Luckily, i happened upon m. Krasnodębski's website. I now have more information on my ancestors than anyone ever imagined. Thanks to emil, i am now the unofficial family historian. He is very professional, hard-working and he is always prompt in responding to my requests. I would gladly recommend him without hesitation.

Emil Krasnodębski researched my family tree efficiently and expertly, finding records going as far back as the 1720s! He kept me informed each step of the way and let me decide the scope of the project. Emil has an excellent grasp of Polish genealogy and the different languages in which the old records are written, and I definitely recommend him if you are looking for information on your Polish family.

I hired Emil to search records which have been retained by the Piotrkow Lutheran Parish. Through his research, I was able to discover the names of paternal third great grandparents as well as the birth location of my second great grandfather. He also found the death record of a paternal second great grandmother which gave her father's name , first name of her mother and her birth location in Germany. He was also able to expand the family of a great grand uncle. Based on the birth location of my second great grandfather, I suggested that they probably registered in Labiszyn parish. He searched that parish in both Catholic and Lutheran records. If you are looking for a researcher in Poland, Emil is professional and trustworthy. He communicates in a timely manner.

I highly recommend Emil at Polish Genealogy! He is an expert genealogist, and his research is thorough. He is kind and friendly, and was able to translate the information to English for me. Emil was able to trace 3 branches of my family back to the 1700's! I never thought it would be possible. Thank You Emil!!!

Człowiek godny polecenia i zaufania, który prowadzi poszukiwania w przepastnej historii ludzkości, skutecznie odkrywając tajemnice przeszłości, z zaangażowaniem równym poszukiwaniom swoich korzeni, czyniąc historię bliską nam. Niezwykły zmysł poszukiwacza, niespotykana cierpliwość i bystrość łączenia osób i faktów w logiczną całość - historię, którą w przeszłości zapisali swoim życiem nasi przodkowie.

The gallery presents some samples of the vital records, censuses, lists of residents, conscrpits, prenuptials covering past three centuries, giving the year and place of recording. Please have a look at the diversity, several languages the original files were recorded, but above all their beauty and uniqueness. I invite you to travel through ages.
